Financial Manager

When she married Joe, Chris told him he could do anything but farm! Thankfully, he didn’t listen to her. She can’t imagine a better life. Chris may have married into the Bonlender dairy legacy, but she grew up on a farm herself. It’s in her blood.

Of course, ask her how long she’s been working on the farm, and she kids, “Forever – I try to get fired but haven’t succeeded yet!”

Chris stays sharp for the business with countless continuing education classes and seminars. She understands that there are unlimited ways to be successful, and no one has exactly the same approach. She loves that the family can be creative and continually try new things.

Getting Personal

Chris and Joe have been married for 40 years. The couple have three children. Mike, the oldest, works off the farm as an engineer. He and wife Jenny have two young children, Carter and Ryan. Her children Sara and Brett work along with him in the business. Sara has one child, named Emmett.

For Chris, a perfect day is doing anything with her kids or grandchildren. She loves to read, travel and try new places and foods.
